Nagashima spaland is home to the biggest roller coaster in the entire world. Not only the biggest but he longest, fastest and tallest called steel draon. Also there is many hot springs and ten other large and small roller coasters, it is so amazing. Going up the incline took almost forever then going down it was so long you never thought it was going to end. You probably don`t want to hear about each and every rooler coaster I went on so I won`t tell about all of them. The first one I went on went backwards then did two complete twists, and the last one we went on was called white cyclone and it was almost as long as steel dragon just not as fast. We got really lucky because it was freezing and that meant there would almost nobody there and we were right. Afterwalking around freezing for a couple of hours we went to the hot springs it was outside and inside te ouside ones were all near waterfalls and trees it was really pretty plus your head is freezing but your body is overly warm. Today I am going home finally, and i get to go back in time we leave here at three and get home at 11 am today. It`s because there is a 17 hour time difference and with an 11 hour flight I gain 6 hours. I hope its somewhat warmer back home because in tokyo right now its freezing.

Yesterday we spent the whole day from 9am to 5pm on a small boat searching for sea creatures like dolphins. We went around the neighboring islands no dolphins around the islands but we did see one very big turtle. Later on right after we ate lunch everyone put on their wetsuits and snorkel gear and we went in. It was amazing so many fish in so many bright and exotic colors. They gave everyone a small piece of bread to feed the fish from the boat and when you looked over the side you couldn`t see any but when you threw bread almost all the fish came fighting over it. Under water it was so cool there was a big sandy part in the middle of towers of coral with so man y kinds of fish hiding in it. I watched a leopard print eal go into a whole I touched some really bright yellow fish I saw clams the size of my head that were babies. I was so cool i`ve never done anything like that before. It ended too quickly right afterwards we headed towards the ocean in search of whales. We traveled for about an hour and a half and then stopped and used a sonar to find a whale we did that 3 times until we were supposed to be really close to one all of a sudden a whale spouted then another and 2 more. Then they started coming to the surface really close to the boat then one of the instructors said do you want to try and swim with them so everyone started getting gear back on an a very large school of dolphins swimming alongside the whales. I went in the water with some other people then had to get out really quick because they got scared and swam away so we moved the boat and tried again it was so big and blue under the water but when i turned around the dolphins were way below us just holding still in a group then suddenly they swam away. When we got back on the boat we could stil see the fins swimming away.

Instead we went to chichijima same temperatures way cheaper. ?w?mw???g????? I just said now im writing in japanese pretty cool. The trip to this island was a 26 hour boat ride we slept on small mats on the the floor, ate noodles for every meal, and got plenty sea sick. The view from the boat to the island was amazing coming in everything green and short with lots of steep hills. The first night there we went squid fishing but there was only one cautious squid that wouldn`t come close. We have been going to this one beach really clsoe to our hotel. We met these really nice people who live on a boat and were just visiting they had a kid anthony`s age her name is shanai. On their boat they have a little rubber boat that we took out onto the bay from it we saw all sorts of creatures in the tropical waters like these little black and white striped fish along with sea cucumbers and lots of coral in another area of the water we saw hundreds of jellyfish and giant clams the size of my head. The water here is so clear we can see straight to the bottom in almost all the areas one night we saw two sting rays. Tomorrow we will volunteer to clean turtle tanks at the sanctuary. We went yesterday but they were already done we got to feed a couple though and there was a lot of babie turtles that we got to hold. A lot of days so far have been really hot but for the last two days its been light rain but it still is very warm.

my time so far in japan has been amazingly spectacular! we`ve (me, eva, jeri, mom) been in such towns as: osaka, tokyo, and kyoto. we`ve been to an awsome amusement park where me, eva, and jeri went on roller coasters, and a log ride, and bumper cars. there was also a really cool souvineir shop wich didn`t take credit card so we didn`t buy anything but it was still cool to look at. in the hotel were staying at you can watch free movies on the tv. a thing that i really like about japan is the different colors of trees and varieties of plants, it`s very beautiful to look at. we have also been to a really cool garden with many types of flowers and there was a fish pond with huge fish, they were very pretty. it was really cool walking around the garden because of the nature, it had alot of amazing plants and some animals. the food here also tastes really good, for instance a couple of minutes ago that had a unique way of ordering food, the idea is that there`s a machine at the front of the resteraunt and you put money in the macchine, push the button with the picture of the food that you want, and then a ticket comes out of the bottom of the machine, then you get the ticket and give it to the man or women at the front after two seconds your food is right on the counter. it was a noodle resteraunt so everything you order either has a side order of noodles or is noodles.

well i`ve expressed alot about what i`ve seen in japan and i`m looking forward to writing another post soon.

thanks for reading, anthony

right now im on the computer at fedex kinkos the only system of time here is military time i dont know if i already said that if you press the caps button on the keyboard it starts typing in japanese its pretty cool but on this one its disabled they have huge pinball arcades here they are really loud but its kind of like a casino but instead of chips you cash in balls im not sure if the temples were zen or not they were mostly gardens with a walkway and a spot to light candles and incense one of them had a graveyard it was big for the space it was in. i found out that most of the theme parks here in japan have hot springs which is pretty cool. i really liked this resteraunt i went to earlier you bought a ticket from a machine and give it to the lady then she makes it in less than a minute but it still was really good most of the things you got there was noodle bowls with udon or sobe noodles mine had mochi in it a sticky rice thing it was really good. every morning our hotel that we are at right now serves free breakfast in the lobby it always has delicous toats tea and coffee also cabbage salad and every other day soup or hard boiled eggs its fun. i hope that everybody at home is having fun too

its been a few days since iv had wifi so i havent been able to post at all but theres a plce by our hotel in tokyo right now where i can go later and post al the things that i wrote and saved but wasnt able to post. iv already been to kyoto and osaka. both were really cool. kyoto had a lot of temples that we visitedand osaka had a couple confused taxi drivers. tokyo is huge the streets here are so tiny in most places im surprised cars can fit driving down them. the conditioner here is calledrinse and the pictures on th stoplights saying walk or dont walk have a man wearing a hat which was interesting they have really good toast and tea here in japan along with a lot of good unidentifiable items. theres even american foods in the stores but all the words are in japanese. its pretty cool to turn on the tv in the hotel rooms because all the channels are in japanese and sometimes you can understand what they are saying.
